Yes, us too. Good for us since we have dogs & kids, neither being particularly hotel friendly.

I have always had one, best family holidays ever. Only ever stayed on CL's 5 van sites, got close and bonded with kids so well (nothing else to do obviously) Now have a Swift Challenger and RRS's best tow car ever. Hope V8 FF going to be better still |

Ooo Snap! ![]() Love ours - Three kids and two dogs it a life saver. I don't like the idea of flying... Can't wait for the big hols not long now! We should have a forum scrumdown some time, could probably muster enough of us to make a "Stand" at one of the shows as the FFRR was most under represented at Driffield, dunno about the other events.. Or maybe the Royal County Show (Is it still running?) seeing as it has so many different attractions. Anyway the FFRR is truely awesome when it comes to Touring & Towing. Really came in to its own last year. Its like cruising the fast lane on the sofa ![]() |

That's the bit I'm looking forward to. The D3 V8 was good but I had to work the gears a lot to keep it in the power band. Hopefully with the TDV8 the grunt should come from lower down in the revs. If there's going to be a scrumdown then count me in ![]() |

I like the idea of a camper.. but I like to go exploring to. Packing up camp and trying to find somewhere to park the camper to go and see the sights can be a mare... and towing a car behind kind of defeats the object.

The Camper/Motorhome problem is not so bad really. When you want to park in a nice site and see the area you just hire a car for a few days. If you want to see a specific town you park in a nearby "Aire" and walk into town. If you are near a resort or tourist area you can always cycle on cycle routes and then there is the age old art of using your legs and walking |
