DVD changer

Hi guys,

just moved here from Disco4 now that I have moved back to an ffrr.

I have just bought a Westminster. CD changer in the front, missing DVD changer in the rear.

I have two questions.

Can I just buy the RR 6 DVD changer and plug in and enable. If so, anyone know the part number.

If I get the 6 DVD changer, would I be able to locate it in place of the CD changer or is it best left in the boot where it belongs?

Thank you Wot's that in old money

Are you saying you have rear seat entertainment but no DVD player or just that you don't have a DVD player fitted ?
If you have the former then odd ! if the latter then no , you won't have about £1500 worth of other gubbins to make it work. 2008 MY Supercharged

The RSE system is a £2500 option. Unfortunately a lot of Wires are part of that option and even without the rear screens, a DVD player would not work with the front screen without this option as far as I know.

On the 02 - 05 L322 you simply added an AV cable (@ £30) for a DVD player and linked it to the AV of the front screen and to the sound system. I guess it has become more complicated on a MY11 Smile .

I've got the dual prism screen, I've got the slot to stick the DVD in he boot.

No RSE, I've had that on the last 4 and it never really got used. But it would be nice to have the DVD playing on the dual screen.

Blench99, I'll have a look see in the boot, from memory the we're no connectors sitting idle Shocked Wot's that in old money
