Door mirror vibration

The near side door mirror glass vibrates/shakes at speeds of 55mph+. Doesn't do it on the other side and is a little annoying.

Now the wheels need to be balanced but is this is common issue with an easy fix? Or is it more likely it's been knocked and will be either be an expensive repair or a time consuming job taking it to bits ?

Thanks

Mine did this it needed the bit that fastens to the back of the glass replacing as it had broken, I think it was about 20 quid.

You could tell 'cos it wobbled when you wobbled it - if that makes sense! Geoff

On the wiki

By using "search" - for "mirror"

http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic8055.html

and this one should be on the wiki

"How to fix a loose wing mirror"

Not all may apply to your model, though
