2019 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Carpathian Grey

After umpteen black cars D3's and FFRR I got fed up of the swirls.

Not the actual cleaning......that bit I actually enjoy. Whistle

So I steered clear of anything black and went for blue, silver etc.. But I started reading the detailing forums to learn the best way to clean my cars and prevent swirls as much as possible.

Snow foam, 3 buckets, no shammys just nice soft towels.. Etc. It works.

If in doubt, take a trawl of this detailing site http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/forum/ lots of useful info.

I'm not trying to teach anyone to suck eggs, but the right method makes it soooo much easier. Wot's that in old money

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Stornoway Grey

My previous three Range Rovers have been two dark blue and one Java Black TD6 and yes when clean it was a super looking beast, but drive down the road and hey presto dirty again. I wanted something different this time as virtually every FF and RRS in South Wales is Black (must the only colour they let over the bridge) I now a lovely Metalic Stornaway grey and wow it looks fantastic, not a mark on it and the shine is incredible, plus she does not look so dirty in this weather, although i know different so i am really pleased that i made that decision. Current 2010 Vogue SE, Stornoway Grey with Storm Leather,Deployable steps, Vision Pack

New Zealand 2006 Range Rover Vogue SE Supercharged Java Black

Another member of the 'love black but it's a pain to keep clean' club.

I've given up trying to keep the SC clean at present. Did a big clean, clay, sealant and wax prior to winter and top the wax up monthly. It get's washed when convenient, normally every couple of weeks, but as we drive down muddy, dirty, flooded country lanes on a daily basis it's impossible to keep clean. Neutral 2006 Supercharged

Black for me too.... it does get dirty easily but boy do they look good when clean.

Kath has an SLK which is a right dinky thing.... fun to wash after doing the FF.... takes about 5 minutes to get right round it! Laughing Lloyd Barnes

Yeah, I've had a couple of "girl's cars" - I had the SLK350 and it was a hoot actually. Although it did earn me the nickname "Shelia's Wheels" at work.

Funny - haven't been called that since I picked up the FFRR! Wink Past (too many to list, but a few favs)...
