I have just registered for the forum and just thought I'd say hello to the members.
I have used a few forums in the past and found them an invaluable source of advice from owners.
I am currently looking to purchase a FFRR, I've drove other 4X4 marques and other Land Rover models (mainly O.G.) in the past.
I've done plenty of reading and intend to do a lot more, hopefully avoiding repeating the usual questions.
I am looking for a Diesel, Vogue / Vogue SE and if I can justify the cost a TDV8.
I'll be looking to buy within the next three to four months.
I hope you'll help me along the way to ownership.

Well, took a step forward today and went on a test drive. 2007 TDV8 Vogue SE. In the colour I want - Stornoway Grey, only 1 thing away from the 'wishlist' - would really like the Black wood.
I was very impressed to say the least. I now want one really bad. Its very top of what i wanted to spend.
Heart says: Hell Yeah, Brain says: Its a lot of money.
Now I've had a taste of real luxury it'll be difficult to settle for less. It doesn't compare to anything i've drove / owned before.
Its the first Range Rover i've drove, does the smile last guys or does the love fade?

Well I've done it, I have today bought myself a TDV8 Vogue SE in Stornoway Grey / Ivory. With awesome deployable side steps, heated and cooled seats and Rear Seat Entertainment.
Unsure of the collection date due to cherished plate transfers - previous keepers off and mine on etc and some dealer prep.
Over the moon though. Bought it from my local main dealer and have found the staff there great, hope the after sales is up to the job should I need it.
Once I've collected it I'll get some pics on and update my profile.
I guess I'll also get to post in the 'I'm also now a TDV8 owner' thread!
