Nice colour choice Thumbs Up (same as mine on the outside Cool )

Although mine is sept. 2011 it is one of the 1st MY12's. My dash comes up with the RR logo etc, so strange that yours isn't doing that.

I've never seen any audio display on the dial screen part, although I've never plugged in an MP3, so I should at least try that perhaps ?
Otherwise agreed the CD display on the TV screen is rubbish - no mention of playlist or track playing other than "track 1" etc...
I thought the radio was good though & gives lots of info on the middle screen.

But other than that I just get the cruise info & warnings in that middle panel.

Interesting Rolo. Does yours come up with RANGE ROVER on the centre screen only or on the TFT display? Mine has the logo on the main screen and then on the TFT it has a picture of a sunset.

I have 'Range Rover' on black on the centre screen and the dials in the TFT just appear, they don't fade or anything. When I switch off the ignition, i then get a Sunset, but no exciting exit graphics.

Ohhh okay. I get the sunset coming on whenever I unlock the car along with the RR logo on the centre screen. When ignition switches off I just get the sunset.

I do like the way the rev counter and speed are highlighted either side of the needles leaving the rest of the dials greyed out. Not much help for showing which song is being played on a CD I know, but a nice touch.

And the tight space it lives within..

.. about 1 inch either side of the mirrors through the gate.

You can change that in the settings menu so the full dials light up Thumbs Up

I wouldn't want to change the way it is, but I really must check all the settings to see what else is possible.

My immediate problems are getting my mobile phone paired and the garage for opener to work. Spent a few hours yesterday with no joy, getting annoyed now especially as both worked fine in my RRS and previous Mercedes.

Thanks Joker, the Garage door Opener video looks slightly different to what I was doing. For a rolling code he pressed the button three times with receiver in learning mode, each time the light flashed twice. I think I was not pressing the button long enough each time, so will try again.

As for the phone, the phone finds the Land Rover and says connect but selecting Connect does not give the option to enter 2121. I will try some options but at the moment my battery is low due to messing about too long when these changes require ignition on but engine off. So it's either a long drive or connecting a CTEK charger before any further attempts.

I thought my mobile phone might need updating as it's nearly 7 years old, it's a Sony Ericsson K750i by the way. A check on the internet says they have stopped offering any updates or help for such an old model. This attitude in calling a 7 year old out of date did annoy me as I spend an average of nearly 35p a month on calls and expected the phone to last well into the next century.

Now some good news, I gave the phone a stern talking to and its stubborn attitude changed completely, in fact it could not agree to pair up with the FFRR fast enough. So the phone now sits in the car waiting to leap to my assistance should an emergency arise, and the £27.79p remaining of my original £50.00 pay-as-you-go investment is secure.

Now Garage door opener, you'd better work first time or else.
