sunroof dropping down

Hi folks,
Iv'e got an issue with my 2002 TD6. The sunroof seems to have become loose and keeps dropping down so there is a gap between the sunroof and the car roof.
it's happening at the rear of the sunroof and it leaves a gap of about an inch where rain must be getting in.
The sunroof won't operate properly in the tilt mode, it won't slide up into the gap and i keep having to use the allen key to close the gap up manually.
Has anyone else had this and is there anything i can do.

Many thanks.

Muffster.

Try to recycle the whole process by keeping your finger on the button for a minute and maybe it will coorrect something .

Its in the owners' handbook . Jaybear

It worked.
It has now reset and is flush. I just hope that it doesn't start to sag again for some reason.
Thanks for the tip.

Open it up and check for twigs, crap that could interfere with the operation. The anti-trap could be activated by things that make it "hard" for the motor to close. Just clean the channels/rails/mechanism and you should not have any issues anymore Smile MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
