Dave, see if you can find someo e breaking an 06>MY logic 7 car and buy all the speakers from that... Wow! What an improvement even with the standard amp in the early car... Done it several times... With great results...

So it can be done then.

I've already upgraded the BM54 amp, so the newer speakers would be ideal........

Does anyone have part number ?

Mine (05 Vogue) came already fitted with the Logic 7 Harmon Kardon system & it sounds awesome, so I'd heartily recommend updating your system.

ok, now my car is fitted with the logic 7 . 12 speaker system but they don't say harmen karden on the grills, so are the harmen standard on the 06 and up ..

I believe so........ part of the 2005MY facelift.

Didn't think a 2006 onwards car was different.

My early car has an HK system, according to the brochure, but again, no speaker badge. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

so would the logic 7 system come with harmon kardon speakers or standard LR ones just more of them, i will have to whip one out and have a look at the back, if it is a HK will that be the best i can get or are the 2006 HK ones better, V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Mine is a VSE if that makes any difference? And says HK Logi 7 on the speaker grills... I take it you have touch screen?

hi Craig, no my grills only have the logic7 badge on them but no silver ring round them and no mention of harmon kardon are on the grill but it has the 12 speakers, now does the logic mean that it has the 12 speaker system but could still have the standard LR speakers, one other thing has any one got the logic 7 system and DSP as i don't have the DSP, was told by the dealer you wont have both, i could kick my self as i had the door panel of the other day V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

now my ones just have logic 7,no silver ring. i think i will have to ave the trim off to see if they are HK or not, craig do you know if the early HK speakers are the same as they fitted to the later cars as like the ones you got, or did they improve them. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Dave, while the door cards are off, measure the diameter of the speaker and see if it has an impedance rating.

THere are loads of aftermarket manufacturers that sell custom fit speakers, designed to replace standard equipment in the standard locations.

Most often, though, they are a standard sizes and 4ohn impedance... It's only when you get to certain branded audio systems (like Bose) who use irregular impedance like 3 ohm to squeeze a little more power out of the amp and make upgrading a little more difficult. Researching my first Range Rover purchase
