More electrical woes.

Hi folks.
I'm hoping to get some help with electrical problems.
I removed the passenger side door mirror as it was not working. But when i replaced the door car i have had nothing but problems.
I refitted all the multiplugs correctly and have taken to door card back off to check they are still secure.
Whats happening is the front passenger side central locking is not working. I can't hear the motor working when pressing the key fob so it's as if there is no power to it.
The passenger side window does not work when using the switch on the drivers door.
The window works from the passenger side but i have to keep my finger on the switch, not just press and release.
The door mirror does not work.
I started looking at the multiplugs for power/continuity etc but they are very small and i can't fit the probe from my multimeter in the holes!!

Any pointers on what the problem might be would be really helpfull.

Sorry it's a bit long winded!!

Many thanks.

Check and check again - I understand they all look very similar....

Contacts in the multiplugs - use some fine wire to get into the contacts - paperclip ?

Fuses

Try battery disconnect to reset ECU ? .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Go back to the beginning and start again... Strip it all back down and refit... Then try...

do a full reset, disconnect your battery for 15 mins and the re connect, had a similar issue, i dont think they like being un-pluged if you have the ignition on as i had, but all good now... V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

I have disconnected the battery at least 10 times recently!!
I was given the wrong battery from the shop ( 90 A/H) which caused more problems.
New one fitted and still the occasional glitch. No power to instrument cluster, fuel gauge etc. Sometime they just go off when driving! And the radio display read in German.
A reset cures this, i'm wondering if water is getting in somewhere.

The central locking is a separate issue.

I intend to take the door card off and look again.. when we get a dry day.
Not had it off for a while so can't picture it but are some of the plugs the same, i though they would all be different to avoid putting them on incorrectly.
However this could be my problem.

Cheers.
