I am thinking about a remap I will be looking for mpg more than power, but out of interest does it get rid of the hesitation when in a low gear and also does it get rid of that annoying thing that a lot of RR's seem to do which is holding onto a gear when moving off for far to long before changing up.

I think you might be right... I set off for Coventry for the work to be carried out and re-set my MPG computer - mainly Motorway driving, and I set the cruise control so I could make an accurate comparison before and after the Mapping. On the journey there I got 26.2 MPG - which, considering the speed I was doing, I was reasonably happy with. After the job was done, I carried on to a meeting in London. Similar sort of distance, exactly the same cruise control speed - and I re-set the computer again. I was staggered to see the MPG this time was 29.7 Brilliant - more power, more driveability, more fun and more MPG. Really really pleased!! |

No hesitation at all now - takes off like a scalded cat. More power / torque means effortless and smooth transitions through the gears. |

Just wondering why JE over someone like superchips. i'm looking to get a remap done ASAP and was going to use JE only because they were very successful in building some tasty v8's back in the day but not on any other merit.

Am I correct in assuming the JE remap stays with the car and cannot be removed when you move on? |

My MPG didn't improve much, I get about 26 on average, but I drive with a heavy foot enjoying the extra oomph. Discovery 4 HSE

JE will revert the car back to standard tuning any time at no cost. |

That's the big drawback with JE for us Northerners, we need a trip to get it done and another trip to get it undone if the need arises, hence my decision to go Bluefin.
