If they are the same bit of kit (and they definitely look like it) then they're manufactured by Connects 2 as detailed on the www.autodab.com website.

I emailed them directly yesterday (I reckon your eBay guy is a reseller). It went like this.

Looking at the diagrams you mention canbus, but my car has MOST.

I’m afraid that at the moment we are not compatible with that vehicle for AutoDAB, it is something that we are looking into, but no product yet.

Curious because they advertise them for the Disco and Sport both of which are MOST I think????? Mine was a blue one!

Yes I think they ONLY fit MOST Optical systems.....

For what it's worth, I was visiting Bannings Car Audio in Guildford earlier (they who fitted my Alpine Ezi-DAB into my FF a few weeks ago... ) and told him about this thread.

He said the setup and functions are fiddly as it's all done via the steering wheel controls.

And, because it's all through FM, sound quality isn't as good as pure DAB.

my understanding is that MOST is the optical transfer of info and the canbus [steering wheel ] controls it.. ... - .- -.

This, for both iPod and DAB, is what's available without spending £silly on a new head unit.

The AutoDAB is the other, but that's DAB only.
