Changing the Binnacle - Changing the Mileage?

Hi, I just got a replacement binnacle to use whilst getting my pixels repaired, but this has a higher mileage than mine...

I had thought the mileage was stored in the ECU but am now worried it is stored in both, and the higher one will overwrite the lower...even if I later replace the original (with working pixels!)

Does anyone know if this is the case?

Cheers, David l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

the mileage is in the LCM clocks and ECU, have you got a black dot next to your mileage.. by putting the other clocks it will not alter your original mileage.. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

No black dot on the new one... But then no space for it as its reading 107000.

Just switched them back and appears to be ok - but then the pixels are so bad... Rolling Eyes l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l
