Iphone 4 cradle?

I did a search for this, but couldn't find anything conclusive.

Do RR make a cradle for the iphone 4? I have a cradle in the armrest of my 07 S/C but it's for a Nokia I believe.

Would be nice to be able to plug the iPhone in and charge it in the arm rest, I also seem to remember reading that if the phone is plugged in in this way you get the benefit of using the external aerial, so reception is slightly improved too.

Does such a part exist and if so does anyone know the part no?

Thanks. Past (too many to list, but a few favs)...

Might've been me. You can pick up the parts from BMW - you'll need a cradle for the 4/4s.

I am negotiating with the manufacturer of these too, at the mom. We'll see what happens. PM me if you are interested.

For me I'd be happy with just the adapter part so I could put a dock extension cable on it and have a loose dock connector next the to gearstick as its just so much easier to quickly plug it in when you have a case to protect it normal docks just don't work Sad FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

We have this discussion at home all the time as all the family has iPhones (I can already imagine what some people are thinking... Razz ) and we have various dock devices (stereo, chargers, etc) around the house - none of which work with cases. But then again, iPhones are not terribly robust when dropped. Then again, iPhones are aesthetically pleasing devices and most cases don't help the aesthetics. Then again... Rolling Eyes

Well I currently use an otter box and it's already dying so a lifeproof is the next one on my list to try Wink FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

is the iphone 3 different in size to iphone 4? i have thought for a while that the BMW cradles should fit, but didn't want to spend lots of money and find out it doesn't. Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE

That's why I asked if the part number 84212199389 (BMW) works for the iPhone 4/4S, because I believe there is a different part for the iPhone 3, and I'm still unsure if this works out of the box and with the existing wiring on the RR
Thanks
