I think about 36K.

It did not have the side steps / smoked side indicators / rear lights - coded vents / grill or the chrome rear corner bits. I took those off my TD6 I traded in.

But it did have the tow bar. But the stealer would have changed it over for about £500.

Both nice but wrong colour interior, it HAS to be black interior this time. I'm finding less cars have factory privacy glass so may have to plump for the film version, its not as important as black leather and RSE.

Spoken to many dealers over the past few days, its amazing how different their attitudes are, some really don't seem to care if they sell a car or not! Discovery 4 HSE

So, went to the see the one at the LR Dealer which ticked all the boxes. What a shame! It was in terrible condition, the previous owner was clearly a F@t B@stard (apparently he ran a Transport company...I painted my own picture easily) and had ruined the front seat by sliding in and out, all the door sills were HEAVILY scratched, scratches on the paintwork, rear shelf missing, alloys dinged all round, there were dents in the front door pillars (not sure how they got there) but generally it was shabby. I walked away in under 5 minutes!

thought that was the preserve of Disco drivers, IMHO potential owners of FFRR should be vetted to ensure their total suitability - I simply wouldn't let them have a FFRR

OK< onto the next potential car, faily local to me, a non dealer. Its the same spec, silver/black SE, RSE etc. The garage have tarted it up with fake Overfinch 20" alloys and new tyres (unsure if I like them or not - they say they also have the OE 20" alloys) They had put a chrome SC grille on it but I told them it looked dreadful (they rang me today to tell me that they've ordered an OE one from LR and are fitting it prior to me viewing at the weekend!)

All sounds good on the surface, all depends on the condition on the day.

The good news is, I have a mate who may be interested in buying mine off me as he know it well and knows its in great condition.

What do you think to these wheels?

Wheels don't look 3 bad and they have new tyres.

Grill looks OK, might look with a std 1, but I would change the side vents.

I don't think silver looks good with std gray plastics.

Just my thourghts.

It now has SC side vents too (standard not chrome)

Anyone know if those horrid chrome mirror caps can be taken off without trashing the underlying plastic wing mirror housing? Are they glued on with industrial grade epoxy or something similar? Discovery 4 HSE
