191k miles. Is it even worth looking at this ? is this priced correctly ? I suppose anything that would need changing would have been done at this mileage.

I've exchanged messages with them and viewed two of their cars over the past year. They seemed to have a good customer-friendly attitude and some nice stock. I suspect they genuinely reckon it has some useful life left in it yet. 2003 4.4 HSE Epsom Green / Sand. Lovely!

Of course it is! Folk attach far, far too much importance to mileage. 191k is really nothing. 500k is nothing. What's important is that it's been properly maintained and the photos alone suggest that it's been well cared for. Keeping black paint looking like that is not easy. We looked at lots and lots of different Rangies before settling on the one we have now. It's the cleanest we've looked at and has 119k on it. Some of the scruffiest, poor driving ones were low-mileage examples, probably because they'd been used in more urban environments they'd never had the chance to stretch their legs, had been up and down the first three gears in the 'box all the time and had been opened and shut and climbed in and out of considerably more than one that had spent more time on motorways and longer jaunts. History is everything. Mileage is just a number.

It is at roughly 2x its design life, do it would all depend on whether it's been looked after, maintained properly and cherished or not.

True Martin, but then most of us probably own cars whose life is technically up on that basis.

And the difference between 100 and 200k?

Don't doubt that you can run a car over 100k miles (my D3 is on 103k now) but they do require maintaining properly and parts replacing

Gosh. I'm paying £3.5k more for similar car with 103k less and from a LR dealer, with 12 month LR warranty

I think I am more concerned with the price, like nbunney said, you can get half that miles for a couple of grand more. It does look very tidy though.

Maybe I should ask if they will do a direct swap with my 140k td6 it's not worth much less than that and is 2 years older but fair do's it's got forecourt tax attached
