May as well make my first question a stupid one !!

Hi guys,

When checking the location of my ODBII port on my 2007MY TDV8, I noticed what looks like a small switch beside the footwell light. It looks like the old-style BMW window switches.

Can anyone enlighten me on what it is please?

Whatever it is, it's active! Whistle
