I get this all of the time with the witter detachable bar on swmbos car. It doesnt get used often so corrodes slightly and it needs a good going over with a wire brush in the reciever hole before it will go in.

Not had this yet with the ff but a spray with some light grease now and then cant do any harm. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
