Sunroof drains - clearing

Hello,

Stupid question, the 'one-way valves' are they located at the top or the bottom of the drainage tube?. Thinking about threading something down and was wondering where i may encounter a potential stoppage.

Reaon for it left vehicle parked in a slight nose down attitude - heavy rain - drivers footwell very wet!. Can see some dribbles of water ingress around the footrest area. Closer inspection of the sunroof (after an almighty gurgle) area shows signs of welling water at the front.

Many thanks in advance
David

Right, an update.
In between the rain showers i managed to get the sunroof open and have a look - fully armed with strimmer cord, torch and camera. Not being so tall i stood in the rear and looked forward.
Having located the drain on the pax side and had a gentle prod i could not find the drainage outlet on the drivers side.
What i managed to extract was a baby acorn & cup, all of 6mm across, that was blocking the outlet at the top end.
Removed it and before i could get the camera [Wink] all the water had gone.
I flushed it with a litre of water and the bottom end appears to drain about 10cms behind the wheelarch from under the drivers door.
The drainage outlets are not located forward facing but at 90deg pointing outwards towards the door.
Just have to pray for some warm days to dry out the carpet now.

THank you for all the advice and help....much appreciated.

Stick the aircon on recirculating and aim the HOT air at the footwells and it should speed the process up a fair amount as the AC dries the air and the heat from the vents helps lift it into the air Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
