It is unfortunate that drivers today do not match their speed to road/driving conditions which means that gov have to step in and nanny us. .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember

Are you kidding? More like it's a shame the government persist in seeing motorists as a cash cow, and using speeding fines as a way to relieve us of cash!

all to do with road safety. They turned off all the speed cameras for a while in Oxfordshire where I left, then I believe the turned them on pretty quick under pressure from central government, before anybody could realise that traffic casualties had fallen since the cameras were switched off!  2012 SDV8 Vogue SE

Fitting these instead of airbags would help!

 

I stick to the speed limit however stupid I think it is hence my clean licence

However I am constantly put at risk by idiots overtaking me - usually in the new 20, 40 and 50 limits because they are frustrated by them
