Think it might be worth getting three main dealer quotes. I bought a new key and tried about four main dealers for a price re key and coding and they varied alarmingly. You can then use the info to strike a better deal. they will price match .They seem very keen to get the business.

Alan, K Motors do charge an extra £30 for the supercharged and the TDV8 due to the larger quantity of higher specification oil (?) - or so they told me.

I think the price you have been quoted is a little high, my recent inspection 2 & MOT was quoted £520 by the local stealer (they made it clear that this was there best price and already discounted for me ), £450 from one independent specialist and £390 from a third.

Needless to say the independent specialists won

Got a FULL service done last month at Stratstone Newcastle £400. They also gave me a FREE MOT vouchor when due and a HALF price service next year when due.

Try going on this site www.maindealerdiscount.com and take the quote to your stealer.

Mine was a 120k service so they said they had to charge a bit more

Was also told that they did not use these anymore, dont know if this is true.

But you have nothing to loose by going in and asking for a discount

I got mine done at Morrison's the Land Rover dealership in Stirling ….

Sounds far from Glasgow , but it's only about 35 mins up the road , they also do a courtesy car but you have to call to see if they have one available as i am guessing you never bought your car from them ( which i did ).

And if no CC they will run you into Stirling town centre so you can spend the day Xmas shopping
