circa £13K first RR purchase advice

Im looking for my first Range Rover and want to spend in the region of £13k. Looking through the classifieds it appears I can opt for miles vs age. e.g
I can buy a 2003 4.4 V8 with 60K miles or I can get a 2006 SC with 110K miles for this money

I am leaning towards a 1 owner full dealer history 2006 supercharged with 109K miles as I hear range rovers get better every year of production. However are there any got ya's I need to think about? e.g. gearboxs not lasting, very big services coming up, all bushes wearing out at 100K miles etc?

I will only be doing 5K miles per year, so fuel etc not too much of an issue.

Any advice would be appreciated. I understand the "random" horror stories with any brand/model am not put off by rare occurances of gearbox failure/diff failure etc as these happen on BMW's and Volvos also.

History and condition is everything. Mileage is irrelevant. 2003 Vogue TD6/1992 Classic 300TDi/2x 1991 Golf GTI/1966 Volkswagen Kombi/2x 1968 Volkswagen Kombi/Probably something I've forgotten...

As above, buy on condition and the current owner.

if they look and seem the type to not care then car issues will not be on their top 10 list of must do's.

Bodywork doesn't always need to be perfect as little scrapes and stuff always happen but see that it looks like it always gets loved and doesn't want or wait for anything Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

2006 should just be into the newer facelifted model? If so then slightly updated interior, front end etc.

Others more knowledgeable will correct me if I'm wrong Smile Lloyd Barnes
