Phone Tariffs

I just got a text message from Vodafone saying they are going to increase my monthly line rental for no apparent reason , tried to call them but they are closed , i am about 7 month into my 24 month contract with them , surely they just can't increase my monthly tariff … Censored ====================================

You can use it as a way of getting out of the contract without penalty, did it on Orange a few years ago and it worked like a charm.

Best thing was I had 2 phones (one for me and one for mrs), both about 3 months into an 18 month contract and I got to keep the phones too.

Both were top spec expensive phones at the time, P990 (PDA) and C905 (one of the first to have an 8mp camera) and to top it all I went from a 2 x £35 a month tariffs to 2 x £18 a month sim-only with O2 AND I got 2 x £100 cash-back for going via Quidco.
