Was talking to a couple of officers last week they are not allowed out now without stab vests on, but that aint going to stop a bullet or a determined nutter thats the problem IMHO you can protect against most eventualities but the lone nutter never

I drove past this on the way home today it was like a police car park they were all out and the BDU lorry passed me at some speed on the pass too. Tailbacks for miles over the hills too and only found out when I got home what has happened

Regards the stab vest, yes, we have to wear them, but they aren't ballistic vests, they stop a knife yes, but wouldn't stop much in the way of bullets. V8 or else ...

To be honest I think they should be put in stocks and left to die there. It would reduce crime rates drastically if the crime punishment equalled so much stock time or till death in them.

Vegetable stalls nearby would have a roaring trade for gone off fruit and veg so suppliers could still get rid of the stuff not fit for consumption. And those given community service would have to sweep the fruit and veg up for recycling as well..
