Decided I would bite the bullet and colour code my grill. I used gloss black paint with a couple of coats of laquer. I plan to do the side vents next. I think it looks a good match and came out pretty well will need a small polish after a couple of weeks once paint hardens.

Do I just remove grey insert and spray? Any pics of how that might look as I don't fancy doing anything too drastic. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

I guess you could always use gloss vinyl wrap in there, if you have friendly car sign writer with a cutting machine, then it is non destructive ? I like non destructive mods .
