I hope she slams amazon and gets the info out of them, and then if they refuse they are subject to fines.
Amazon may retort with some rubbish and maybe offer her XXX in vouchers or suchlike to keep her stum but I'd take the vouchers and still stuff them over for such blatent behaviour. Im sure an EU court would agree they hadn't served sufficient notice or reason to user and thus shouldn't have cut her off from her paid products in such a way as thats technically stealing. they took her money and didnt deliver the goods as promised...
