My FF has gone into a hard fault on the "inactive suspension"

My thoughts were that the compressor has gone down.

I did my research and came to the conclusion to strip down the compressor. I have and it does need a rebuild kit due to the spring being badly corroded.

But the primary error I did was not disconnecting the battery prior to taking the compressor off.

After stripdown I put 12 volts on and it was working to what pressure i dont know as I dont have a rig set up to do a pressure test.

I have done a full batery disconnect and left it for a few hours and put back and the outcome is still the same.
The Suspension lights are not on!

Should I summise that a reset is required only to put this back

Any help would be much appreciated

Full lock left to right and back should do it mate, unless one of the height sensors are faulty gone fishin'

Forgot to put done that as well !

All sorted now went to see a Master LR mechanic

It was locked out and the compressor was working after it was put back to normal happy days!

just a bit mate

Its a temp fix for now and ill look out for it !

You know when you had your tracking done did they have the t4 to lower the car down so that they could simulate a load on the car before they tracked it ??

Never heard of that befour. The air suspension should stay at set height regardless of load inside in normal height mode i think onto no6 Range Rover

He was one of the main master mechanic at LR Droitwich so I guess he knows the procedure !

But I might just take it to the one in dudley !

Im going up there in a week or two anyway just to get the motor checked befour winter onto no6 Range Rover
