iPad Mini

Anyone looking to get one , reading up on the spec of them they don't seem to be that much different from the iPad 2 or 3 ….

Granted they are a bit pricey compared to the Kindle HD's and Google's offerings , looking to get one for the sister in law but for all she would use it for i have told her she would be best going for a used iPad 2 …

As she doesn't want to fork out for a 3 …. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

I understand smartphones and get tablets, but I don't see the point of these mini things. They are too big to carry around like a phone and too small to be a proper tablet. The kindle, yes, because it is book size, but if that's what you want a mini for, just buy a kindle. Previously..

Mini tablets do have their uses, I use a 7" inch as an incar GPS, perfect size for that but for internet and films the screen is too small.

Wait for the official announcement of the Nexus 10, the specs have already leaked and the screen resolution laughs at the ipad4... much higher screen res and a front camera. I reckon it will be much cheaper too probably around £300. Go for the full size tablets if you get her one Thumbs Up

England 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Stornoway Grey

Pre-ordered one for my daughter for Xmas.
She's only 6 but always on our iPad. Wanted something a bit smaller / lighter for her, so thought this would be ideal.
She loves the games and some of them are very educational too.
Had it, loved it!
