I've read mixed reviews re Hunters ?

Has anyone used Alan Smith garages ?

DLS in Wirksworth - no contest. Family run firm who have been around along time. Excellent, friendly, efficient, knowledgable service.
I'm not related to them, just been taking my Land Rovers there for 20 yrs incl three RR's from a 1972 to a 2005 FF.

Don't bother with the main dealers - have a trip out to the Peak District !

If you do want a main dealer then I would recommend Hunters in Derby

I have always found their service second to none. Dearer than an indie but good service.

I've been taking my cars there since 2000 and never once been unhappy with any work carried out and rather than most stealers who dis. the forums run by Martin, Hunters don't.

I had an FFRR once that had an issue that I could never recreate on demand but I pointed out the forum link to others that had experienced a similar problem and it was fixed that morning.

I bought my current Westminster in March and have had no issues. Now, sure reliability and build quality has improved but a thorough PDI makes the difference IMO. Wot's that in old money
