Pixel repairs and custom dials (update - with photos)

I'm going to get the dreaded pixel problem sorted on my Range, I've looked around and there are several companies that repair this - the one below has a service where you bring the car to them and they repair the display while you wait - I have chatted to the guy on the phone and he's keen to show me what else he can do with the dash
He's offered:
dials replaced to the facelift (2006-09)
Green LED changed to White LED backlight
Orange Needles (not convinced about that one)
Theres even a 2012 display shown on the website

its £180 for the pixel repair, £200 for repair and the facelift dials

What do you guys think about the white LED's? I'm tempted !

also - anyone a facelift car (black and yellow dials) can you tell me what colour the dials backlight is as standard?

cheers stan! they look great - bit too bright at night though! unless they're acceptable with the dimmer switched right down i think they would give me a head ache on a long night drive 2003 Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black

yeah he had advertised the pixel repair + facelift dials for £200 on ebay - I emailed him and asked how much for just the repair and he said £180? I presume he was doing a special offer? I'll get him to clarify the prices as i think £250 is a bit steep! there are other companies around doing it for 200 or less. 2003 Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black

That's my RR that Rudi done about a year ago

There still brilliant like new, it can b a bit bright but I used the dimmer and adjusted and now there spot on

It's a real clear display system, I to was concerned over wether to go all white or not buy I'm so pleased I did I think I'd of regretted it if I hadn't of had it done

Update ! got fed up with the pixels, they were gradually getting worse and worse - more so when the car was warmer?? So took the plunge and eventually got this done today (5 months after initially deciding to!)

Went to www.Speedofixer.co.uk as mentioned above, They're in Borehamwood just off the A1, very close to J23 of the M25 for anyone in Herts or London. Cannot recommend them enough - they can do a vast variety of repairs to many makes and models of dashboards as well as upgrades and change of backlight colours

I decided to go for the 06-09 dials and White LED backlights (along with the pixel repair)

Opinions please !!!!!!
(the camera seems to make the led's look retina burning bright - its just a poor setting they're not that bad at all - they look very crisp and bright though. I have included a dimmed photo too
what do you think? (pos and negative opinions welcome - I understand they may not be to everyones taste!)
