Order

Yes, gone for an Autobiography with the 4.4 engine.

Colour wise still waiting to see how the Luxor looks, how 'gold' it is, as I want the black roof and the type 7 wheels with the ivory interior (like in the sand dune promo shots) . I like ivory , plus wanted a sportier look, however, if Luxor is too yellow, will consider the Indus or Orkney, probably with black interior (that i wanted to avoid as it looks a coal pit). I do not like the wood trims, look too plastic for my liking. None of the Autobiography colours look worth the money as none are three layer and are just normal metallic shades, and chromoflair is not really my thing. It looks like you can create 2 looks with the new car, contrast roof and light colours for a sportier look, or single colour , black as ever, or the indus silver for a more classical look.

To be honest, the info at dealers is poor, and it is hard to tone and contrast without samples, and just looking at photos. An area they must improve if they want people to be braver... Plus why show cars at launch and at press events with interior finishes that are not yet available ?

Monaco 2011 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 V8 Nara Bronze

Considering an Autobiography as well, however dilemma with the color... Rolling Eyes
There's a nice Indus silver one on YouTube from Morroco, but kind of like the Luxor color as well, should look nice with "almond" interior! As you say, one needs to see them in "flesh"!
Otherwise I'll stick to santorini...

Why not wait for the Sport if you want something that looks sporty? Seems a bit like wanting chunky tyres and an expedition roof rack on your new 458.

Agree that the dealers really should have proper samples and swatches for the new car, especially if they're expecting to compete with Bentley etc.

Sadly I'm not in the Autobiography camp, but got a Black TDV6 Vogue on order.

I'm probably going to delay delivery until about April/May so that I can get the best price for the current car in the Spring weather. Sadly roadsters are very seasonal!

Well I have a 458 and it did not need chunky tyres.

I think you missed what they are trying to achieve with the new car, there are two distinct looks based on colours and contrast roof. You can go two directions.

England 2016 Range Rover Vogue SDV8 Aintree Green

I've got a SDV8 Vogue on order in Aintree Green, would love an Autobiography in British Racing Green but cannot justify the extra 20k, on contract hire that works out at about £450 a month more!

ON ORDER

Each to their own but the combination in the desert promo pictures looks awful to me.

Aintree Green has to be the pick. All that silver plastic though ...

Montpellier,

Did you settle on a colour? Causeway grey was really nice, but I am also tempted by contrasting roof.
Orkney grey and black roof looks nice. My initial view was Santorini but fancy a change from my current black car. Black and Ivory interior is my leading contender. Keen to avoid Ivory seats tho and will go for black as concerned about keeping them clean otherwise...
Indus silver always nice but think darker is better with the size.
Re wheels I test drove a SDV8 with 21, they looked positively big, 22" might be step too far, looks great but would be worried about the ride...

PS: shocking the lack of info at the dealers BTW, no swath, no colour sampler, not quite a high end shopping experience in comparison to other premium brands out there...
