2009 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Bournville

Whistle

I was strongly considering getting one for my dad. As he currently runs MY09 TDV8 autobiography we were looking at the new 5.0 SC for a change. We took the car out on couple of occasions - I was very impressed by the engine and he quite obviously by the reclining rear seats, which BTW is the only reason why we were considering getting a new on. However, in the end we were advised to hold on with the purchase and wait for the new diesel engine coming out this year.

Why are you asking? Rolling Eyes

theres been no talk on here about them at all just seemed strange no body has baught one or asked questions about them.
im not going too purchase one yet maybe next 18 months and ill see what accesories they bring out because acording to parts man at dealer he said '' a lot of the accesories that you can get for the pre my09 vehicles they are discontinuing for the new facelift as there is no market for things like lightguards , winches , expo roofracks '' and it made me think is the FFRR going to loose out to the bling brigade who just want to look good (no offence to anone who likes bling ) Thumbs Up as i like to use my vehicle properly thats why i baught it we will see otherwise its going to be a last of the line pre facelift tdv8 and move all my accesories over.

and what new engine is coming out Thumbs Up onto no6 Range Rover

I'd like one but you need to give it a while for them to iron out the problems, I did this with my first TDV8 vogue and it was well worth the wait as it was problem free Thumbs Up

I think I'll change mine around 6 months after the new TDV8 has arrived. '09 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto for the Mrs

Searching for a nice E63 AMG or S8 V10 to replace my "wonky" TDV8

England 2003 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 V8 Stornoway Grey

My company has two 2010 cars; one a petrol Autobiography and a diesel Vogue SE. The supercharged car is remarkably quick for such a lard bus and I love it.......But for normal everyday use I actually prefer the diesel. This is because it's quiet, fuel efficient (for it's weight/size) and generally a very well thought out car. My only negative comment of the engine would be that it doesn't have as much torque as I imagined it would.

Both cars are wonderful but feel free to ask any particular questions. Rules are made for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men.

Mick, the new diesel is in the pipeline for september-ish.
It will have more bhp and torque than the current 3.6 model Whistle
