Turn A/V Screen Off

Is there a quick way to do this rather than going through menu?

Can you not just press the button and say "display off"? I use that every time I drive at night. I can't see on my iPad what year your FFRR is, so apologies if you do not have this function. Previously..

He means the voice button on the steering wheel - some cars didn't have it.

^^^ Strange, Why would it not be activated?? If you don't want to use it, you don't press it! Is it the original steering wheel or has it been "upgraded"?? Previously..

Been a few years since I played with it.

I believe I have one of those models with all the telephone integration stuff built in, but not actually used (no OEM phone in cubby etc, but Nokia 6210 integrated instead) .
