Tyre mixing

Im struggling to find an MTR tyre that i can get in time for this weekends off roading as the only decent looking part worns are the other end of the country Sad

If i leave my new pirrelli scorps on the back could i stick 2 of my MTR's on the front at or would i be better the other way around?

Im concerned about any undue stress it would place on the centre diff and transfer box as the front wheels would have a slightly larger diameter than the rears by a few mm or more as im sure my MTR's have about 8+mm of tread left but will check later, and as the pirrellis are new they are going to be a little less than this Sad

Any advice please gents Smile

PS the fronts on at the moment are down to 2.5mm so will also need replacing soon so useless for any mud or offroad action Sad FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

not ideal but the m&s should go on the back as i'm pretty sure that there's a 40/60 drive of which 60 goes to the rears ,maybe someone can confirm that. ... - .- -.

I was thinking that as well Stan.

The MTR's do have M&S marks on them but im sure thats not taking into account any ice as there aren't any ice slits in them... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
