Looks like a cut'n'shut right now.

I see a new roof panel but what are they going to do with that weld above the n/s/r door?

Shocked just Shocked
Big Cry poor car. It's not exactly tidy inside is it? Messy hoors.
Thing is as well, it will be recorded as at least a catD on the register I would think. Gonna make it even harder to shift! Previously..

I can't see it being registered at all as they have fixed it.

If it was written off. i would agree but the insurance company have fixed.

How worrying is it that you don't have a clue what your pride and joy has previously had done to it as it won't be recorded, someone will get very excited about buying this car in 5 years time without a clue what's happened to it, real shame for you though, hope you get the outcome you want in the end Smile

Hi Jim, new to forum, but as you can see from my username - I'm fond of Pugs too - and fairly local! Wink

Sad news about your FFRR there, I hope its repaired right. Just remember to not sign ANYTHING until you are 150% happy with it!

Mike

Hi Mike welcome to the fold.....already looking to get rid of the car and actually going to look at something this weekend, dealer prepared to take my car back at full valuation and will then put it to the trade so if he is happy to do that then that might be my best option Thumbs Up

Looking at it in that state is no real indication of what it will be like when it comes back to you, no filler, full of dust etc. At the end of the day it is their job to return the car to you in the state it was in before it was hit by the fork truck.

To be honest i would be supprised if you will be able to spot the joins/welds by the time it is done with, as has been said electrical gremlins may be a different matter.

However if a dealer is prepared to take it at full val and move it on then sounds like the better option, it is unlikely that anyone will be looking up there for damage anyway as it was a wierd place to get hit.. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
