Irregular cruise speed

When I cruise, there are small acceleration threads every 2 or 3 seconds, repedely, instead of a perfectly constant one. I maybe gain only 1 or 2 km/h but it's very annoying.
Any experience/feedback?

Is the road flat and straight?
Mine does the same driving through curves or up slight inclines. Also slow speed cruise control does it.

Not sure how the cruise control works on the FFRR but the Classic RR had rubber tubes which would perish and give similar problems

It's when I use cruise control. It happens on flat and climbing roads, not descending ones.
