if you are struggling these types of carrier usually have some type of U clamp to fix them to the bar, it may be possible to mod them by using a larger U clamp.....and liberal use of a drill There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

How much do you care about the bars ? Are you using them for other things ?

Hmm I had Thule roof bars on a GL and it was definately a step ladder job, and hard work getting four bikes up and down. If you have a tow bar then that is the better way to go. The Thule racks are much better than the LR version, but not cheap! |
