Manifold seal kit?

I have just been told if i replace my glow plugs i need to replace the manifold seal also Is this correct information I have recieved?

hi i have replaced the glow plugs, but the seals have held his own, which were still good, if you want to do a good job all the changes so you're sure to 100%
