Kenya 2011 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Santorini Black
L322 - Water Leak / Ingress issues

Hi all,

First of all just want to say thank you to this site and all the members for making buying a Range Rover so much more fun (and at times heart wrenching)!

I'm new to the forum as I am currently looking to buy my first FFRR / Discovery 4. I have my eye on a 2010 FFRR Vogue at the moment but had a few questions.

I've already been through quite a few threads and seen potential problems and the running costs I'm going to hit in my life! However, there is one issue that has been quite vague. I've seen a few posts about water leaking into the rear boot and causing havoc with the electronics. How frequent / documented is that problem with the redesigned 2010 L322's?

The reason I ask is that I plan to take this car back to Kenya with me in a year or two and want to try prepare my car as much as possible in advance.

Any thoughts from previous owners / those familiar to this car are very welcome.

Thanks a lot! MY11 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - "African Queen"

you wont get the water ingress problem on a 2010, it was around the 2002/2004 that had it..

welcome to the forum and wiki btw.. ... - .- -.

Many thanks for clearing that up stan!

Just saw the Wiki so will definitely look at that before buying.

But from experience, is there anything I should definitely get the dealer to confirm on the 2010 FFRR as having been done / changed due to recalls or known problems?

I'm a great driver, but when it comes to technicals I'm a bit useless. MY11 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - "African Queen"
