Sorry to hear that, Jay, it looked lovely in the pictures too!

There's nothing more annoying then when someone does that, especially not when it's a significant distance away.

When we bought one of our P38's it was in Southport and was advertised as having failed it's mot on emissions, my thoughts were to drive it home to a pre booked mot and go from there. The seller however became quite coy and wasn't up for that idea so drove down to see it as something wasn't right. Turned out it was running on 4 cylinders and was as rough as a badgers arse. Luckily we renegotiated a price we were both happy at and got it home. Turned out it needed two new lambda sensors and its been great since.

The other was in Manchester and was much better then described. It really is hit and miss with eBay and sellers descriptions unfortunately.

Are you looking for another one? Keep an eye out for a good soft dash model LSE. They were nice cars and are very rare these days.

Is that a dent or reflection on the rear quarter?

Steering wheel is aftermarket I think and rear parcel shelf shouldn't have speakers in it.

Yes i wasn't best pleased when i turned up and opened the rear doors. Its full of rot. The cheeky B has relisted it with not one of the points i had told him about.

The only good thing he has refunded my deposit tonight.

I noticed it'd been relisted.

He's also got sold written all over it in red now. It's one thing to say he's not noticed it but to sell it again without telling anyone after you've pointed it out is just deceitful.

Hopefully the new buyer realises before he's paid the guy.

Thats the only thing with Ebay. There are to many to ers selling cars they know nothing about.
I will keep hunting for the right one. I will be looking for the soft dash classic i think. the only problem is they nearly all have big miles. i'm looking for 80k tops.

Yes that is true, but if I am ( I am not by the way) how does it matter, compared to you saying "it's full of rust"?
