Hi have just got my vogue se with a preheater fitted . Getting fumes in car when it's running will have to check exhaust is not loose but what am I looking for ? Where is the heater fitted &should it smoke any advice most appreciated. Thanks

They can smoke a bit if they havent been used for a while. It should clear after a bit of use.

You should not however get fumes into the cabin. It is unlikely that the exhaust has come adrift but worth a look, you are looking for a small pipe about 1" in dia. It is located near where the passenger front wheel track control arm (rear) connects to the subframe. The burner itself is inside the passenger wing and can be accessed by removing the inner wing liner. This can be done with the car in off road mode with the wheel on, access should be sufficient for a quick look. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
