Air Suspension - Extra modes Crawl & Extended ?

I've searched both terms without coming up with a thread on it.

I've stumbled across the terms 'Crawl' and 'Extended' referring to extrteme low and high suspension settings (below and above the regular maximum settings)

Anyone know how we can force them into these modes?
On a RRS Apparently you can stand on the brake in OffRoad mode and hold the Up switch foir 3 seconds to get an extra 1.5in? L322 4.4 Vogue MY03 - Her name is Bulletproof .... you already know she's not Smile

As per the thread it needs to sense its being grounded to go up.

Will need to try the super extended bit next time myself, though someone with the older system should try it as well as my AS system will be the same as the one in the thread Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

For 'crawl' mode, you can select the 'Access' height and wait until it has set itself, press the centre button to lock, and then the suspension will stay in that height. I believe that going over 21 (or maybe 25) mph will cancel it anyway, and go back to 'normal' height, but would need to check the manual

Thanks for the replies all.

Stan: Awesome thread nice find thanks for going to the trouble.

Robjp: Are you saying that Crawl mode ISNT lower than Access - its just locked at Access height? I thought it was a lower settiing? L322 4.4 Vogue MY03 - Her name is Bulletproof .... you already know she's not Smile

Hi. According to everything I've read - and the owner's handbook, yes, access = crawl.

Very happy to be corrected though, there may be some way of bump-stopping the suspension if needed.

Crawl mode is very useful when driving in some multi storey car parks. Tom
