Why do you think those black rear windows are so popular?

I'm sorry, but unfortunately I don't agree. I've test driven 4 of them & each has had some problems that I'm not happy with. I can afford one, that's why I went & test drove them, but I can honestly say none drove as good as my L322. I'm quite sad about that because it really should have been better & I really wanted it to be.

Of course we're all entiteld to our opinions - some will like, some won't.
I'm not making fun, I'm just giving my honest opinion.
If you like it & have one, great you should be very happy & don't worry about what others think Thumbs Up

Still hate the new one. Tech aside it's a f'kin pig, will never grow on me.

to be fair it's only my opinion and is skewed by the fact that 3 1/2 years on I still walk back to my L322 with a smile

In Australia, 'luxury' imported cars ($60k AU+ was the figure a few years back) are absolutely hammered for import taxes, to preserve local manufacturing facilities. Audi, BMW, JLR are all scarily expensive over there, and always have been. My plan was idiot-proof ...

Until someone designed a better idiot

Should L405 owners go on an L322 thread and point out why it is an out of date product? No , it is stupid. L322 is still a fine car, but the new car is superior . You may not like it, may no be able to afford it, or justify it, but it will be a huge success, is one of the best vehicles produced anywhere in the world and will provide countless new jobs in the UK.

Can someone create an L322 section so all these people can wax lyrical about how much they love it and miss it.

keep ur hair on Thumbs Up
"Superior" is subjective... this much is true...
Poking fun at things is part of the structure of fullfatrr.com!
Makes perfect sense to discuss the suitability of the new generation.
We post on L405 threads because we have a vested interest in the well being of LR as a brand that we all know and love.
Feel free to attack L322, it had/has its faults.
I do hope that, as you say, it will be a success, it just presently seems unlikely from a RR fan's POV.
The new jobs only replace outgoing jobs for L322, so this is irrelevant? If we wanted purely to preserve British jobs, we'd all buy astras to keep the ellesmere port factory afloat.
This is a discussion page about L322 vs L405, so your point about this being merely a place to poke fun at L405 is
irrelevant.
Just because you have a direct interest in the success of the L405 does not mean that you can limit debate about the car.
Fin.

2007 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black

My daughters and I are in opposition. Driving around Manchester yesterday allowed us to see many newbies.

I don't like the new one - though it may become bearable in time. My youngest daughter feels the same.

My eldest daughter prefers the new one. This, I do not understand.

It looks smaller, less impressive in it's stature. I am quite relieved as I don't feel I need one - I really needed the one I have.
