Martin, It seems to me that many people do not see their PM messages quickly due to not getting emails or simply not checking them.

Yes I was aware of that option but most don't set such options (see me first post) on the D3 site you are immediately aware you have a new PM.... |

it must default to 'no' then, maybe Martin can change the default to yes.. ... - .- -.

That would help but a flashing link like on the D3 site would be BETTER |

How about When you get the email notification it only says you have a pm from fullfat etc so you have to read the message on the site rather than leaving it unread as you have read it from your email.
