Needing a little knowledge on jacks

So, second post and I already have a question, please be gentle as I'm away with work at the moment and am trying to gather some info as I can't look at he car myself.

So, I have a 2008 (57) Vogue TDV8 and am wondering about the jacks that you guys use. I've read the posts regarding the merc sprinter bottle jacks and am interested in getting one of these, my question is in relation to the fitting that some forum member used to adapt the jack to fit into the 'BMW' fitting under the car. Does my car have the same rubber fitting/ or are there and differences in the year/ build dates?

Thanks
