Snow and more snow

Unusually for this area it's been snowing all day. Thumbs Up
It least I've now got the driveway clear so that we can get out. Very Happy

My first use of the fullfat in the snow since purchase and it is as impeccable as I thought. The mrs said she has never felt as safe! My c class estate on the other hand is stuck on the side street! She will be going this summer when the warranty is up, nothing can beat these range rovers in any season!

Well, that's not strictly true in my experience...

My 300Tdi 110 can pee all over my FF in the snow. My FF is good, but the tractability and grip from my (admittedly non-standard) 110 is immense.

It's probably the tyres, but also an exceptionally low-down torquey engine and drivetrain. It's incredibly surefooted where the FF will squirm and slip a little with the TC stepping in as needed.

I imagine that a TDV8 would be better, especially on steep snowy descents. I find the V8 tends to run away a little, even in manual mode whereas my Tdi will walk itself down a hill in High 1st quite happily with no drama at all. Si. <This is my name.

I eat rat poison.

A man ain't truly been insulted until he stands buck naked in front of a woman and she didn't even notice. Or care.
