speakers short circuit

Anyone had any problems with speaker interference - did two shortish trips - 10 miles each - yesterday and it was horrendous - speakers buzzing and popping all the way - even when I switched the stereo and even ignition off - at one stage a really loud bass bang caused me to swerve at some speed which wasnt too safe...

Drove 100 motorway miles today - nothing! Booked into dealers for next week as its under warrranty but any experience appreciated!

Had a ton of stuff fixed under warranty a month ago but nothing to do with the sat nav/stereo. Much more and I'm going to end up with a mostly new car Smile

the more advanced diagnositics will register faults with the amp and if certain speakers have gone short circuit.

I cleared mine that were showing such as they were historical faults and they haven't come back, though im sure volume level doesn't help.. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

I get that from time to time , not sure if its the same fault tho its like a click clack sound every so often only does it on the odd occasion can go go weeks without any interference then one day it could happen twice ….

Usually just stop the car press the remote to lock the car wait 30 seconds start it up turn steering lock to lock and the interference is gone …. PITA at times …. but when i put it in to the dealers the last time they couldn't find anything wrong … Shocked

Same car as yourself …. Thumbs Up ====================================

"Open Mike Night " sounded like a lot of fun until i found out i was going to an Autopsy
