20 or 21 inch wheels?

I have been pondering on that one for a while.
I test drove a SD V8 n 21 inchers, ride was good but somewhat crashy over poor surfaces...They do look good on such a big car though
20s are more mainstream, easy to find winter/all seasons tyres for and ride is likely better although haven't test drove one. Also at least £1500 cheaper...But do they look too small?
22s look good but downright impractical and would assume have a pretty severe impact on the ride. Also a touch too bling for my tastes..

Those 21's just look wrong to me.
I'd go 20's every day Regards

Go for the 21" as you can get a spare set of 20's cheep as chips and keep them as a spare set the 21's will be rare as rocking horse s Censored for a long time.

have driven the new car on 20" and 21" no noticeable diff in ride at all , the new car is stiffer than my 11.5my with its reactive ride , i have gone for 21" on l405 just because they fill the arches so much better , as prev post 22" hmm no thanks Far to many gone...

thanks for the comments. 21" are a good compromise, agree they fill the arches better on such a big car. If the ride is not really impacted, it makes it a good choice. My key concern on the 20" is exactly that, do they look too small. The 21" look right but haven't see yet a car with 20" in the flesh.
@JAYBOY: had a quick look on Ebay, surprise 20" are indeed that cheap for the current RR. Wonder if these fit the new model as they are good value for winter tyres...

The 20" wheels aren't great to look at but I don't think they look too small (whereas the 22" definitely don't look right with such tiny sidewalls).

19" is available elsewhere:

I think 21" are the right size for the L405 with a spare set of 20" for Winter.
