United Kingdom 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Oslo Blue

The Censored ones stay an eBay and don't sell the good ones like yours won't hang around. Mine was on eBay for under 7 days and sold to the first guy who came to see it. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

Would you do a classified advert, buy it now or auction?

Classified add. Loads of photos of a clean polished car, taken in a nice location. Then a really detailed discription highlighting its been very well looked after more than you average FFRR. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

Rob is correct, if you want to sell the car take it to a pretty location not a car park and take really good photos of the car. One of the photos shows a wheel that is wet which looks slap dash as it looks like you photographed it in a hurry.

Full on high res photos of each side front and back, interior detail shots front and back seats, wheels, engine bay and if you have bundles of history photograph that and list any work thats been carried out as this indicates the car has been looked after and properly maintained. Mention wheel and tyre condition as these are pricey to replace/refurb.

For the advert think about the information you would want if you were looking for one. I know you haven't done this but don't list all the features like heated seats, climate etc because a serious potential buyer will already now that it has all these features. Be transparent about any problems or issues as these will only be found out on viewing and will waste a potential buyers time and your own. Make the advert stand out from the rest. So many bad adverts out there.

List the vehicle on eBay with the usual clause that its advertised elsewhere. The last 2 cars I've bought have been listed on eBay but I did a deal. All of the cars that I've sold have also been showcased in this way but its essential the car doesn't hang around so with that on mind be realistic and not greedy about the price you want. Nothing worse than a car that is on for weeks and gradually goes down in price. That's not the way to sell a car.

If you do all this and ensure the photos are clear and taken on a sunny day then I'm sure you'll be successful.

Thumbs Up

Ps take out "best colour combination"as this sounds pushy.

Price drop has definitely done the job.

Three people interested within an hour of reducing price!
