Ashtray cover removal

Can some one please tell me how to remove the astray lid cover in the centre console on a 2003 l322 please , I'm changing all the grey trim but I can't get this off .( thanks

Cant remember what the 2003 ashtray cover looks like is it the flat spring up type if so just pull it up towards you as it slides off

Yea that's the mind but its the actual grey cover I'm trying get off
