Snap in adapter for arm rest...

Apologies if this has been done to death previously!

My 2007MY SC has the arm rest with what looks to be something like the old BMW snap in adapter type arrangement. Given that its JLR I'm sure its not that simple though. I have the latest BT module and that all works fine but would like to charge my iPhone 5 and listen to its music.

Is there any option using the arm rest connection. I'm really not bothered enough to spend £3-400 on the JLR iPod kit.....it's wifeys anyway Cool

^^^ thats the only option im afraid on our type of FF Sad

The snap in cradles only work on the older 2005< FF's and thats nicking them from BMW as well as JLR wont do an iphone one. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Get an Alpine EZI-DAB, it gives you full control and charging of any Ipod/pad. You also get DAB radio as well. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Alan, how does the FM Direct Injection sound....some of the FM connected ones I've heard in the past have been awful?

It does FM, but also can plug into the AUX connection on the RSE, which I presume you have?

I did. It's not the most taxing job, depending on how your are with these things. I'f you do a search you'll see a couple of us have them in different locations. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
